Q: How does the jack come back down?
A: There is a threaded valve in the base of jack. you tighten the screw with provided jack handle and then insert jack handle in the round tube on pump. pump the handle to raise...to lower you put the jack handle on the valve screw and turn counter clockwise to lower...you can control the lower speed based on how fast to turn the screw...after all the weight is off the jack you can simply push down on the jack ram to push the ram all the way back into the cylinder (housing).
