Select the appropriate hydraulic oil
Hydraulic oil plays the role of pressure transmission, lubrication, cooling and sealing in the hydraulic system. Improper selection of hydraulic oil is the main reason for the early failure and durability decline of the hydraulic system. The hydraulic oil shall be selected according to the brand specified in the attached instruction manual. If the substitute oil is required to be used under special circumstances, its performance shall be the same as that of the original brand. Hydraulic oil of different brands cannot be mixed to prevent chemical reaction and performance change of hydraulic oil. The hydraulic oil with dark brown, milky white and peculiar smell is deteriorated oil and cannot be used.
Prevent solid impurities from mixing into the hydraulic system
Clean hydraulic oil is the life of hydraulic system. There are many precision parts in the hydraulic system, some have damping holes and some have gaps. If the solid impurities invade, it will cause the precise coupling parts to be pulled, stuck and blocked, which will endanger the safe operation of the hydraulic system. The ways for general solid impurities to invade the hydraulic system include: dirty hydraulic oil; Dirty refueling tools; Careless refueling, repair and maintenance; Scaling of hydraulic components, etc. Solid impurities can be prevented from invading the system from the following aspects:
When refueling
The hydraulic oil must be filtered and filled, and the filling tools should be reliable and clean. The filter at the oil filler of the oil tank shall not be removed in order to increase the oil filling speed. Refueling personnel shall use clean gloves and work clothes to prevent solid impurities and fiber impurities from falling into the oil.
During maintenance
Remove the oil filler cover, filter cover, detection hole, hydraulic oil pipe, etc. of the hydraulic oil tank, and avoid dust when the system oil passage is exposed. The removal can only be opened after thorough cleaning. For example, when removing the oil filler cap of the hydraulic oil tank, first remove the soil around the oil tank cap. After loosening the oil tank cap, remove the sundries left at the joint (do not flush with water to prevent water from penetrating into the oil tank). Open the oil tank cap after confirming that it is clean. If it is necessary to use wiping materials and hammers, the wiping materials without fiber impurities and hammers with rubber attached to the striking surface shall be selected. The hydraulic components and hydraulic hoses shall be cleaned carefully and assembled after being dried by high-pressure air. Select the genuine filter element with intact package (the inner package is damaged, although the filter element is intact, it may be dirty). Clean the filter at the same time when changing the oil. Before installing the filter element, carefully clean the dirt under the filter housing with wiping materials.
Cleaning of hydraulic system
The cleaning oil must be hydraulic oil with the same brand as that used in the system. The oil temperature is between 45 and 80 ℃, and the impurities in the system shall be removed as much as possible with large flow. The hydraulic system shall be cleaned repeatedly for more than three times. After each cleaning, the oil shall be drained out of the system while the oil is hot. After cleaning, clean the filter, replace the new filter element and fill with new oil.
